Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked. Select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
Connect your workspace
In Scout Settings → Website account, enter your website's HTTPS address, account details, and activation key. Accept Chrome's website permission.
A small note before you start.
Chrome cannot install a ZIP directly. Extract it first, then use Load unpacked. Provider accounts and usage limits are separate from your Scout license. Web Store installation and automatic updates are not included.

Ask your workspace administrator. Each key connects one account and one browser installation. Create an account first, then use your account details and key in the extension.
What happens to my provider API keys?+
Your provider API keys stay in the extension's local storage. Research sync sends selected domain metrics, keywords, statuses, and dates to this website. It does not upload those keys.
Can I move to a different browser?+
Yes. Ask your administrator to reset your installation, then reconnect on the new browser with the same account and valid key. Resetting the installation disconnects the previous browser.
