Competitor Scout 4.0.1 — Full workflow recheck

DA and Google discovery
- Capture discovered organic Google URLs and retain every same-domain appearance.
- Read domain-bound Google DA even beside purchase prompts.
- Send only missing DA to one shared Keywords Everywhere native Bulk tab, grouped by Google page, with up to 100 domains per batch. One remaining domain still uses Bulk.
- Index results once per read cycle and save fresh individual scores while the remaining domains process. Reject foreign scores and previous-job values.

Age, DR and traffic
- A passing DA unlocks age. A passing verified age unlocks DR. Sites failing either gate do not use DR requests.
- New runs default to keyless public registration APIs, API-first DR and traffic later. Use Continue traffic, or select full traffic checks before starting.
- Add multiple authorized Ahrefs keys in Settings. Green requires an actual successful response; untested, limited, rejected and disabled remain distinct.
- Temporary DR API failures receive at least three requests before website fallback, with a separate website attempt budget. Another available key can handle permitted credential failures.
- Account, global and IP limits hold all keys until cooldown. Adding keys does not bypass those limits.
- Bounded asynchronous probes test failed credentials during active research. Active website checks continue; successful recovery returns future queued checks to API.
- Continue DR waits for the permitted recovery test, including immediate retries after a failed probe. A completed failure or 30-second timeout releases normal fallback. Disable, removal and Stop cannot leave a permanent retry hold.
- Website fallback selects the visible ready form, enters and verifies the requested domain, waits for the submit control and reads only fresh domain-bound results.

Large batches, repeated runs and saved data
- The controlled 50-keyword/100-site integration completes API DR and traffic despite authentication failure, credential quota, account 429 and a temporary 502 response.
- New runs reevaluate saved sites against their selected stages. A traffic-enabled run resumes missing traffic for previously DR-only sites while retaining fresh API DR.
- DR and traffic remain reusable for 7 days, and registration lookups for 30 days. Expired or undated data returns to its necessary gate. Stale optional backlink counts do not discard fresh API DR.
- Captures and assignments save immediately. Full archives checkpoint periodically and on pause, stop, completion, new runs, export and startup/update.
- Dashboard polls and archive updates keep compact summaries. Independent finished snapshots and timestamped corrections remain available in worker storage and exports.
- All saved sites CSV/Excel include every saved run and status, captured URLs, metrics, sources and evidence. Memory backups exclude credentials. Unknown values remain blank.

Verification and browser setup
- Ordinary organic results discussing CAPTCHA do not falsely pause Google. Actual Google sorry pages, visible native challenge forms/frames and genuine page-level verification still pause for manual completion.
- Desktop Chrome/Edge installation steps and official Keywords Everywhere and optional Buster links are included. Install companions separately in the same browser profile.

Practical limits
- Google may not render every possible result, and providers may not supply a metric. Incomplete scans remain visible and retryable. Persistent unreadable data may need review instead of invented values.
- Registration APIs need no key but still have provider limits. Alternate endpoints are used only where IANA lists them; the bundled data currently lists one endpoint per service.
- Keys do not provide unlimited credits. CAPTCHA, subscription restrictions and quotas are not bypassed. Complete verification yourself in the provider tab.
- Cloud policy blocks unpacked extension loading. Tests use controlled runtime/API fixtures and real Chromium DOM fixtures. Live installed-extension/provider-account behavior remains unverified.
